FN shut down as you all know... but, we have been sponsored by FN on Agononline.com so we can start the ladders in january. if you as a clan would like to continue with the CITE ladder it is there on agononline.com @ http://www.agonon...urnament#/ (i am sure you have all seen a similar post in the CITE facebook group.) but seems we only have 4 teams signed up from the old ladder. anyway.. that was my ramble.. if you can get your team members signed up Mash/me are around to help you setup a team and get your team on to the ladder.
Hi All, In talking to Marcie (and also other OMA members) we recognized that there is a lot of confusion about how to join Agon. I put together some basic instructions on how to do that from a team member perspective.
Note that I didn't setup the OMA team on Agon, Dirty Dan did that so i don't have the instructions on how to do that.
I did however put together some information on how to join a team once it is setup. Hopefully the team captains can take these instructions and customize them with the correct links and passwords for your specific team.
At least this gives you some instructions on how to join Agon.
Here are the instructions that I made. I hope you find it useful.
Setup Your team:
-Insert instructions for that here. (It would be helpful if someone makes notes and provides that here to the other team captains)
-Send the link to your members to join the team
Individual instructions for team members:
1. Make your account on agon:
a. Go to http://www.agonon...om/#/index and click on ?Signup?
b. Dont use social media link. Put in your UT name in "first name" and put a "." (or similar) for last name. If you want to put in your real name, then go ahead!
c. Put your UT name in the handle field
d. If you already put your real name in those fields, you can edit your account after it is created and update with your UT name
2. Once you have your account setup, then you are ready to join the community and join your team. (Assuming your team captains have already set it up)
a. Click on team link provided by the captains of your team.
b. Click on the Join Community link
c. Click on the Join Team Link. Note that you might have to do this twice. For me, It didn't take the password the first time so I just did it again and it worked.
d. You will need to put in the team password provided by your team captain to join the team.
