How does UTStats work?

I like browsing statistics, but there's one ting I can't wrap my head around.
At the UTStats site for 2014, -=CoN=-X has 12781 frags, but at our scoreboard for 2014 he has 17504, am I not taking something into account?

I could be wrong but our stats update every week and theirs are once a month.

I was almost sure that our stats was somehow synchronized to UTStats, but now it seems that neither of the statistic pages have updated in over a week (16th).
Can someone enlighten/confirm this?

Sorry when this post was originally posted I was traveling for business and must have missed it.
UTSTATS updates 5 minutes after every hour. So the most it is ever behind is 1 hour. The count in the 2014 UTSTATS is only for the freestyle server. The info on the stats leaderboard is pulled from the freestyle and the madness servers and added together so that is the difference.
Also just for clarification we host all of our own Stats. All numbers you see are pulled from our UTSTATS databases.
You are correct, for some reason the data has not posted since the 16th. I will check into that now.

Yes, I found the error and it has been corrected now with 0% data loss. The automated process(without getting to technical) "had gotten stuck".
Very nice catch on the stats not updating! I had been wondering why traffic had slowed down.  |

Always got the eye for details and minor flaws.. I guess WD40 did the job then, as it was "stuck", hehe.
